First I forgot to mention a couple of things in my last post, those sightings were the combined effort of the crew (Erin Cashion supervisor, Lauren Harter, Ryan Trimbath, Rich Aracil, and myself.

I also forgot to mention that we've been having some movement of Bobolinks, with birds flying over wherever we've been near fields.?

Today on private property in Hancock County we had a fun day of banding with the usual assortment of warblers plus we also banded 4 Yellow-bellied Flycatchers and I saw a 5th.? We banded no other empids, though we did see two Least Flycatchers nearby.? Also near by Lauren Harter had a Mourning Warbler.

After work we stopped by Lake Mosier outside of Fostoria.? Only a little bit of mud was exposed and only 9 individual non Killdeer shorebirds were present (Least, Semi Sandpiper, Semi Plover, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs).? Also present was a pure white Egyptian Goose.? Pretty nifty looking though an escape from captivity.? Good birding!
