A little while ago, I was looking out my window at my bird feeding station when a hawk landed on the lawn right in front of my building. My first thought was that the Cooper's came back. I haven't seen it in over a month. A second look told me that it was a Peregrine Falcon. Its behavior was not what I expected from a falcon. It walked around on the ground and then walked into the bushes in front of the building trying to catch one of the house sparrows. I only wish he had been succesful. I have been trying to trap those house sparrows because they eat all the food I leave out for the finches, cardinals, and house sparrows. This all took place in southern Delaware County directly behind Polaris Towne Center.
