I took late afternoon walk in the Padanaram area. The water level is
low enough to expose some mud flats so I was hoping to see some
shorebirds. I found a couple likely spots but only saw one small flock
of sandpipers, a brief view as they flew by in the fading light.

The woods were full of robins, downy woodpeckers, and some cedar
waxwings. Also present were Lincoln's and White-throated Sparrows, and
a couple Rusty Blackbirds. Got nice looks at a Pileated Woodpecker,
and a flock of Tundra Swans flew over, heading east.

By the lake: Great Blue Herons, Red-tailed Hawk, Belted Kingfisher,
and Ring-billed Gulls.
