?? I checked out Hoover Reservoir yesterday and had a good flock of shorebirds just north of the bridge ( think its area L's pond). I then hiked up atop the old railroad bed there and was treated to birds eye view of a super-cool flock of migrant warblers. Fall Blackpoll Warblers so close I could see their yellow feet and every streak! I love Blackpolls, especially considering the super marathon migration they're about to embark upon. I also had a great look at a Winter Wren right below me as it spooked about a tree fall. What a day, and FYI, get out and find some sparrows! they are here!
