My wife  said what are those out there?     They look like female rose breasted grosbeaks but they are smaller .    I looked and sure enough , there were 3 female purple finches. Also 2 males.    also had a Dicksissel there too . First ever Dicksissel . Might be  coming in the area because of  the Doc behind me  has a prairie bordering my property.
