A single female Evening Grosbeak showed up at my feeder here in northern Ashtabula Co. on Saturday (Nov. 14). This is the first time an Evening Grosbeak has been to the feeder in at least 15 years. Unfortunately it may have been a one day wonder because the bird was not seen at all yesterday (Sunday). The only notable bird that did visit the feeder yesterday was a Pine Siskin mixed in amongst the Goldfinches. Bob Krajeski North Kingsville, Ashtabula Co.
