I was at the overlook after Paula and Sally. I had the addition of a Red-throated Loon which was observed for perhaps 10 minutes, before the rains came. It was mostly by itself, but did drift by a Common Loon and Herring Gull, so I was able to get some great comparisons. I was unable to relocate the Red-throated Loon when I returned at 12:30. Also noteworthy, a few Common Mergansers were mixed in with a large flock of Red-breasted Mergs to the far east of the overlook. See you on the trails, Chris Pierce N.
