There was a great movement of birds today with lots of ducks and gulls. Missing were horned grebes, and I had only a single loon. The Bonaparte's gulls here moved in two distinct waves. A group passed by around 8:00 and another group went by around 9:30. There was an adult little gull with the first group. Surprisingly the Bonaparte's were going east while all of the other birds were heading west. I also had 3 long-tailed ducks and a surf scoter.
