I realize I'm biased because I work for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology(!), but I'm hoping the birders on this listserv might be interested in a brand new online course we're offering on bird behavior. It's called "Investigating Behavior-Courtship and Rivalry in Birds." A small group takes the course at the same time over five weeks. It's full of neat interactive activities including video of dancing birds-of-paradise we just collected in Papua New Guinea. No hard sell here-I just wanted you to know it's out there-the next session starts November 11 and the one after that begins January 6 if you're too busy to do it now. It's offered through eCornell-and you can visit this page to get all the gory details: http://www.ecornell.com/birds. Pass it on!
