This morning I found 11 Sandhill Cranes in a field on Wilderness Road on the
south edge of the Funk Bottoms Wildlife Area in Wayne County. They were
feeding in a field near the ponds. About 20 Killdeer remain in the pond
area. There were also about 50 crows in the area, feeding in partially
harvested fields.
