Stopped by Watermark Quarry on way to Pickerington Ponds. One lonely loon, 24 Ring-necked duckes, 4 Pie-billed Grebes and of course mallards and canadian geese. The Mute Swan and the hooded mergansers had departed. Pickerington Ponds had lots of ducks: mallards, gadwall, shoverlers. The most fun was dozens of new arrived tree sparrows as we hiked along the ponds.
