I'm always eager to check my feeders after the first measurable snowfall of the season because it always brings new guests.  Today was no exception, but I was less than thrilled to see a  lone male brown-headed cowbird groundfeeding with my usual flock of house sparrows.  I guess I hope that it hangs around until tomorrow to be included in the northern Columbus Christmas Bird Count!
