A Pomarine jaeger was seen on the lake just west of Metzger Marsh this morning. The bird was harassing goldeneye. There were quite a few common mergansers and common goldeneye in that area. There were also two adult lesser black-backed gulls amongst the many Herring gulls.

Yesterday evening there were 27 sandhill cranes in a field along Route 163 about a half mile east of Graytown Road. They were not seen this morning.
