I had to pinch myself when I looked out the window at about 10:30am today. There was an immature/or perhaps just basic male ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK at my feeder behind my house! He should be in south/central america the big goof! He seemed pretty happy as he munched down a ton of Sunflower seeds. Looking like an overgrown sparrow mostly he had a few darker feathers on his wings and some red on his breast. I'll let you all know if he sticks around in time for January listing, who knows.
