What a great start to the work week! On my way to work, I stopped and watched two Bald Eagles as they perched on a branch of a large Sycamore tree. They were almost hanging over the road. The pair was located near the North Ridgeville and Elyria border, just west of the intersection of Sugar Ridge and Bender Road. I actually came into the office, grabbed a co-worker and took him out to see them and they were still there. First sighting was at 8:45 this morning and they were still there at 9:15. This is the second time I've seen an eagle in this location. I suppose it's possible that they are the same eagles that are seen frequently at Sandy Ridge since Sandy Ridge is less than 2 miles North of where I saw the eagle this morning. Good birding!
