Hello, The extended cold weather and snow cover is finally bringing some new birds to the feeders. For the past couple of days, I have had at least one Fox Sparrow and several American Tree Sparrows. I also had a Yellow Bellied Sapsucker at the suet cakes. Sapsuckers are pretty regular at the Sweet Gum trees but I have never seen one at a feeder. In the woodlot behind the house, I had a Brown Creeper and Golden Crowned Kinglet recently as well.
