Hi all, Saturday, February 20th is the date of the 6th annual Ohio Natural History Conference, sponsored by the Ohio Biological Survey. This year, event organizers are pleased to announce Kenn Kaufman as the keynote speaker. Kenn, now a resident of northwest Ohio, will be giving a program entitled: "Fresh Fields: the World View of a Perpetual Beginner". Those of you who have heard Kenn know that his talks are always informative and out of the box, and this program will be no exception. Kenn's field guide series includes books on birds, mammals, butterflies, and insects - all of which are excellent - and this background makes him an excellent choice to headline this conference. There will also be a variety of shorter presentations on a wide variety of topics. The Ohio Natural History Conference is a great way to learn more about the fauna and flora of out state, as well as meet and interact with lots of other like-minded people. The conference will be held at Big Walnut High School, near Westerville.
