We joined a small number of folks from Firelands Audubon, The Wilderness
Center, Greater Mohican Audubon Society and The Crawford County Park
District yesterday at Killdeer Plains and following is a list of what we
saw:

(Waterfowl in pond on Wyandot-Marion Rd)
Trumpeter swan
Tundra swan
Canada geese ( a gajillion at least ! ! ! )
Black duck
Mallard
Northern pintail
Am. wigeon
Canvasback
Redhead
Ring-neck duck
Lesser scaup
Hooded merganser
Bald eagle ( somewhere between 6 and 10 - not sure as they were moving as we
were moving, but a good number )
Northern harrier
Red-tailed hawk
Rough-legged hawk
Killdeer
Mourning dove
Blue jay
Crow
Robin
Cardinal
Lapland longspur
Horned lark (Washburn Rd)

Needless to say, a great to be at Killdeer and the weather was delightful.
Sunny, great lighting conditions not too cold - quite a pleasant
experience. Thenks tohe organizers.
