I swung by Greenlawn early this afternoon for a quick check on the Great Horned Owl nest. Mom was sitting up higher on the nest and was pretty soaked to say the least. There appears to be only one Owlet at this time. I'm estimating the Owlet to be around 2 to 3 weeks old. Below is a link to a mom and child shot. Not the best of shooting conditions. Looking at how wet mom was, you really have to feel for them.
