There are actually three owlets, though most of the times only two were
easily seen this (Sunday) afternoon.  The mom was not seen until I left
around 5:00 p.m.  May be she showed up later.  There were many birders when
I left.  Maybe she waited for me to leave to show up.

Subject: [Ohio-birds] Greenlawn Great Horned Update

I swung by Greenlawn early this afternoon for a quick check on the Great
Horned Owl nest. Mom was sitting up higher on the nest and was pretty soaked
to say the least. There appears to be only one Owlet at this time. I'm
estimating the Owlet to be around 2 to 3 weeks old. Below is a link to a mom
and child shot. Not the best of shooting conditions. Looking at how wet mom
was, you really have to feel for them.
