It is with great sorrow that I report that 3 of 6 wind farms under review by
the PUCO have been approved for construction in Ohio.  Two will be located
in Hardin County and one will be in Champagne County.  These will be yet
another obstacle for winged creatures.  Birders should note that after
November, 2010, the USFWS will be issuing bald eagle take permits for energy
development after spending 40 years bringing them back from the brink of
extinction. For details on this see the Federal Register 46836, Vol 74, No.
