There is an active Bald Eagles nest at Highbanks Metro Park.  The nest can be viewed from overlook platform.  The nest is about 200-300 yards north of the platform.  Based on this location, the Eagles should enjoy a very non-intrusive life.  You could see the birds whose nest was at the very top of a sycamore tree with binoculars, but a spotting scope was very useful.  
 
On my way up to Highbanks Metro Park in Delaware CO, I stopped to see the nest from the backside.  From 315 just north of the Olentangy Valley Center, I pulled into the Olentangy Environmental Control drive.  While I was there, I noticed 3 Gadwalls on the pond in front.
