With the warm temperatures, I noticed movement of American Crows all
afternoon yesterday on South Bass Island. I was supposed to be trimming my
vineyard but often looked up and noticed the migration.
Noon-12 crows
2:00-18 crows
3:00-26 crows
4:00-30 crows
Total of 86 crows I counted all moving north fairly high. There were
probably many more-missed while I was actually working!
Red-winged Blackbirds were singing in my yard for the first time this spring.
Had a few snow buntings pass overhead-one at a time during the afternoon.
