I was at Greenlawn last week and a guy literally walked up to the bottom of the tree. I told him about the propensity these birds have to abandon if human activity gets too much and he moved back to the street. I don't think many people realize that is the case so as always, it might take a little education on the part of more experienced birders. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 15 Mar 2010 17:28:57 -0400 From: =?windows-1252?Q?Tom_manion?= <[log in to unmask]> Subject: Greenlawn GHO To all: This is forwarded from Linda Burkey at Greenlawn Cemetery. They have a=20= Great Horned Owl in section M. She wanted to post request on the birding=20= sites asking people not to get too close. They believe last year the bird= =20 abandon its nest because of activity close to nest. =20 Tom Manion ______________________________________________________________________ ******************************* ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
