The female tree swallows have returned to join the males.  When I went to 
Emily Traphagan Nature Preserve to monitor boxes after work today, I saw 
numerous couples sitting on top of and entering boxes together.  

Also, a bluebird couple is fiercely defending a pair of boxes.  They have 
a complete nest already.
