The woodcocks may be gone, and the kinglets and warblers may not be here yet, and the cemetery may have been packed with gluttons for punishment (Indians' fans), but it was a beautiful day for birds! On my lunch hour, along with the usual robins, song sparrows, and starlings, I saw: Eastern Towhee - 1 (believe it or not, the first I've seen since I was a child!) Brown Thrasher - 2 Yellow Bellied Sapsucker - 3 Brown Creeper - 4 Hermit Thrush - 6 Turkey Vulture - 3 Black-eyed Junco - 2 Northern Cardinal - 2 Northern Flicker - ~ 10 Aaron Milenski ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
