Dear list, I was wondering if anyone had location details for the Eastern Screech Owl in Jackson Field? I've heard the owl mentioned before but haven't had any luck finding it; I see on eBird that it was sighted as recently as last Sunday. In other news, today in Shaker Heights, near S Woodland and W Park a very large (presumably female) Red Tailed Hawk was prominently perched near the top of a large tree. I'm used to seeing RSHA and Cooper's in the neighborhood, but this was the first RTHA I've seen in the area (aside from the occasional flyover). More accustomed to seeing them (by the score) on my morning drive along the interstate. Grateful for any pointers on the ESO, Noah ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
