Southerly winds must have really perked up the migrant diversity in Ohio. I had FOS rose-breasted grosbeak, red-eyed vireos, yellow-throated vireos, black and white warbler and ovenbird at parks in metro columbus today. Hermit thrushes, myrtle warblers and white-throated sparrows still persisting. Also had 8 broad-winged hawks riding a thermal across the sky. Good (urban) birding, Desiree Columbus, Ohio -- Desiree L.
