Went to Caesar Creek SP this afternoon. Very, very quite birdwise! The best bird was an Osprey at Young's boat ramp. There are some extensive mudflats at Young's boat ramp but I did not see or hear a single shorebird or plover, and I mean, not even a Killdeer. The best part of the day was the ponds at the wetlands near the Visitor Center. As soon as I got out of my car I could hear the American Toads trilling. There were at least 200 in each of the ponds. I had to be careful walking around the edges so that I would not step on a toad they were so numerous. I have never seen anything like this before.
