Greendale Wetland (Site on the Hocking Valley Birding Trail) Wayne National Forest Hocking County, Ward Township, Section 35 (69D7) While marking a breeding bird survey route at Greendale Wetland this morning I was able to finally confirm breeding of Hooded Mergansers. There were two females in the wetland with 10 young following one of them. I have seen male/female pairs out there in the spring but never any young.
