As Jim reported, it has been a great day here at Magee Marsh. Lots of variety! In addition to Jim's report we have also had a hooded warbler. (and many others) Great to see lots of folks out enjoying the Wildlife area. If you were here today you may have noticed a couple of new birds near the Bird Center. We have two new bald eagle mounts from sculptor Jim Gundlach. His son and friends are helping to construct a bald eagle nest for the birds as part of an Eagle Scout project. So if you are thinking of stopping by even yet today, there are plenty of birds to be seen. The weather may not be as dry tomorrow, but I suspect that there will be plenty of birds to see. There will be coffee and donuts available at the Bird Center tomorrow. Happy Birding! Mary L. Warren Wildlife Communications Specialist Magee Marsh Wildlife Area 13229 W.
