Hi folks, As mentioned by Kenn Kaufman yesterday, there is a good variety of warbler species here at the Magee Marsh boardwalk. During the couple hours I was leading a group this morning, highlights were a Kentucky warbler on the north side of the boardwalk near #7A (prompting one of those patented Magee Marsh birder stampedes), good looks at a Hooded warbler on the south side near #7, and a Prothonotary warbler on the south side near #17B. Every bird was exciting to the group, and it is always heartening to see the joy on rookie and veteran birdwatchers faces as they see the warblers passing through.
