Mark Anderson called me around 12:45pm today and said he had been watching a Willet on the beach in front of Villa Angela for a half hour.  He had never seen one here before or ever.  I wasn't birding today so I had to go home and get my camera.  By the time I got there by 1:30 a man walking along the beach caused it to fly to the beach in front of Euclid Beach Park.  It later flew to the east end of the Villa Angela beach.

I still had five White-crowned Sparrows singing around my house all day, roaming in the grass, under the feeders and using the bird bath.
