On old Butternut Ridge Rd between Rt 83 and Durkee Rd , south side----lovely 2 hour walk/birding with no one in sight the whole time! Horned larks and fledglings along the trails and also Savannah sparrows and fledglings.Delightful indeed! Total 26 species---Park less than a year old and getting better bird-wise with every trip. Three marshy lakes beyond the soybean field---keep walking! :) Grateful for the time to be out again, jeannie Jeannie Williams If anything is excellent or praiseworthy---think about such things. ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
