Well, my Turkey Vultures have another brood in the old sugar house in the woods! I saw 3 white, downy young on the bare ground inside the house. There was a frightful hissing coming from somewhere, I don't think the babies. I didn't see an adult. The sound was exactly as it sounds on Cornell's All About Birds. Yikes! Even more frightful was my camera telling me "battery exhausted" even tho I had just put one in before I left. I already posted the sighting to the OBBA; it's actually in Mantua Twp.
