I finally made it to the coliseum property and easily found a pair of sedge wrens and a singing henslow's sparrow. ( Thanks Scott Hannan for the very useful directions.) Otherwise lots of savannah sparrows, song sparrows, bobolinks and e. meadowlarks. A few cedar waxwings near the entry gate. I tried to follow a trodden path to avoid disrupting the nesting birds. Scattered about are small blue maker flags. Does anyone know what they are for?
