Well, I guess the amazing collection of shorebirds that a birder saw at Conneaut on Wed. didn't like me much. None of them showed up for the hour and a half in the afternoon while I was there except the peeps, semipalmated plovers and two pecs although a possible Baird's flew off as I arrived. There were no other birders present and no other disturbance including avian predators on the "birdy" side of the sand spit while I was there. I fell asleep for another hour in my car and when I awoke at about 4:30 there were still no other species or other birders as I left.. This might save someone some gas money.
