I went to Villa Angela and Wildwood State Parks today from 5:20 to 7:10pm. Wasn't able to find many species of birds because of the time. Did see a Horned Grebe in the Wildwood side in Euclid Creek below the bridge found by a dogwalker/birdwatcher who saw a grebe. This is what I could find: Black-crowned Night-Heron 1 adult, juvenile found by dogwalker Horned Grebe 1 Hermit Thrush 4 Thrush 3 (to dark to see) Yellow-rumped Warblers over 25 Blackpoll - few Palm Warbler 1 Field Sparrow 1 White-throated - many many White-crowned 10-11 Dark-eyed Juncos 8-9 Song Sparrow 2 Yellow-bellied Sapsucker 1 Northern Flicker 1 Eastern Phoebe 1 Ruby & Golden-crowned Kinglets 1 of each Nancy Anderson Richmond Hts, OH ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
