Larry Gara and I checked the Caesar Creek beach this morning and did NOT
find the Franklin's Gll that has been present for over a month. The usual
suspects (250 Ring-billed Gulls, 10 Herring Gulls, and 20 Bonaparte's Gulls)
were present. We don't believe we overlooked the bird. It may have been
foraging in a differnet part of the lake, but it usually sticks close to the
ring-bills.

From Harveysburg Road, we found little except for three Horned Grebes and a
juvenile Surf Scoter. The scoter was a mix of chocolate brown colors with
one amorphous spot behind the bill and below the eye and another behind the
ear.

Cheers,

Bob
