Wellington Reservoir, just south of Wellington is teeming with waterfowl.
Even before we got out of the car we saw one Greater White-fronted Goose.
Then we looked over a group of Snow Geese. There are 13 blue phase Snow
Geese. (Two odd balls have orange heads.) But amongst the white geese there
are 8 Snow Geese and the other 4 are Ross's Geese. This is a good number for
Ohio! Look for their much smaller bodies, stubby bills and rounded heads. A
scope is essential.

There are many species of duck present. Also there are coots and Pied-billed
Grebes.
