Sorry for the very late post...On Sunday Oct. 31st a bald eagle was seen in a tree at the edge of the Waterman Farm woods. The homeowner in whose tree the eagle landed reported that it was being mobbed by a large flock of crows which is what attracted his attention. An eagle was previously seen by several observers about 1/2 mile away on the grounds of the Ohio Turfgrass Center on Sept. 12th. Picture of the previous sighting can be seen here: http://stoptheroadatoz.org/images/bald_eagle_lunch_1.jpg. Area birders are on the lookout for a possible nest in the woods but so far nothing. We are wondering if this is the same individual seen in September who may be scouting for a good nest location. Good birding to all!
