Six birds seen at Grand Lake St. Marys on 21 Nov (Jill Bowers). Brant: One bird seen ³in a winter wheat field south of CR 24 and west of CR 107, about 100 feet off the road (south of Haviland), according to Andy Sewell, through 21 Nov (multiple observers). BLACK-BELLIED WHISTLING DUCK: The bird was reported through 21 Nov. Details from previous RBA: This bird, found by Linda Houshower several weeks ago, is at Buckeye Lake in Bluffton, Allen County. Further directions from Sherrie Duris: ³The bird is being seen along the west end of the quarry/lake. From I75 get off at exit 142 and head west on 103. Turn right at Main street and go north to the parking lot of the quarry on left. Follow trail left between creek and quarry to west end." An immature male flew west by Rocky River Park. PACIFIC LOON: Just northeast of the lighthouse at the mouth of the Huron River, John Pogacnik found a winter-plumaged bird on 21 Nov. Cattle Egret: At a pond ³in the front yard of a home on CR 168, east of CR 111 (northeast of the town of Paulding),² according to Andy Sewell, on 20 Nov (multiple observers). At Barr's Mills and Nebraska Rd and Winkleplike intersection, Barr's Mills, one bird was seen in a field between "Schlabach Finishing" and an Organic Valley Dairy farm on 18 Nov (Hallie Mason). One was seen at St. Maryıs Fish Hatchery, 21 Nov (Jill Bowers). Hudsonian Godwit: 2 birds were seen off Cedar Point Chausee on 21 Nov (John Pogacnik). Purple Sandpiper: Two birds walking amongst the piers near the lighthouse at the mouth of the Huron River on 21 Nov (John Pogacnik). Pomarine Jaeger: Part of amazing flight on the lake witnessed by Jen Brumfield, Paula Lozano, Jerry Talkington, and Suzanne Wagner on 18 Nov.
