I'm not at all confident I can plan a trip this fast. Turns out I have 4 days of vacation I need to use by Dec 30. I'm already going to see family from the 24th through the 30th. So sometime btw now and say the 22nd I would like to travel somewhere sunny, birdy and hopefully inexpensive. FL, LA and TX come to mind (although AL, MS and ?, I just don't know).. I'm finding it very hard to search for routine cheap flights with such flexible dates. I don't know what the routine cheap routes are to different places. Anyone with experience with geed December birding destinations, specific hotel recommendations, flight info, would be welcome. Oh and anywhere driveable in 10 hours would be even better though I think southern coastal areas would probably be best....right? Flying out of Dayton preferred, but Columbus and Cinn doable.
