Hello all,

Bill Heck and I had a superb day birding around the town of Delaware while
scouting for the Delaware Reservoir CBC. Below are the highlights:

poss. Greater White-fronted Goose- 1, at Mingo Park, this bird was discussed
as possibly being a domestic hybrid thing, so more review on our sighting is
needed
Snow Goose- 1, late day flyover at Snipe Marsh
Cackling Goose- 1, on Olentangy south of Delaware Wastewater treatment plant
Sandhill Crane- 1, single flyover at Mingo
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker- 7, throughout the town
Eastern Phoebe- 1, Blue Limestone, chipping away over small opening of water
along the Delaware Run
Hermit Thrush- 1, Mingo
Chipping Sparrow- 1
Field Sparrow- 18

Hopefully they'll stick around for the count!

Good birding,

Sean
