Been looking thru my guides and in my Audobon Field guide it says they are easily domesticated and are quite tame in the wild. When I went to Bluffton some girls there told me that at first it was quite skittish but after a while it started coming in with the mallards when they fed them. so that is all I have to go on, I thought it was interesting the girls noticed it's skittishness at first. They live there and visit the pond regularly. If none of them have lost one then it would be safe to conclude that it is a wild bird.
