Driving through Highland Park Cemetery late yesterday afternoon, I noticed a pair of peregrine falcons, back on the Tower East building, right next to last season's nesting site. The crows poured in from the north and east, finally assembling in the tree tops by Northfield. At least 600. I didn't make a careful count. One merlin darted from it's perch in section 19 to the golfcourse and back. Feeding In the gum trees, only chickadees and goldfinches.
