Hi All,
Annie, Kelley, and I got out Sunday afternoon to look for the Snow Geese and Greater White-fronted Geese seen on Hoover Reservoir, OH. No luck with the Snow Geese but we did see the Greater White-fronted Geese. What was most exciting was seening an adult Bald Eagle fly low over the ice and knock a Canada Goose out of the air as it lifted off of the water. On the ice the two struggled together for a moment, then the Canada goose limped off and rejoined the flock of other geese on the water. Once the struggle was over a juvenile Bald Eagle joined the adult on the ice, maybe hoping for supper? The two eagles perched on the ice for a while watching the flock of geese, then flew off and perched on the east side of the lake.

Good Birding to you!

Bob(Bebirding), Annie, and Kelley
