Heather Nagy and I birded Salt Fork State Park in Guernsey County yesterday.
While it was a struggle at times to find anything at all, the spots we did
find provided such treats as Red-shouldered Hawk, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
(giving us all the woodpeckers but Red-headed), 16 Yellow-rumped Warblers, 2
male & 2 female Eastern Towhees together, 12 Field Sparrows, 1 Fox Sparrow,
and among the many Dark-eyed Juncos was 1 Oregon.
