One was seen in along the Great Miami River ³below the low dam south of Island Park but north of the I-75 overpass² on 15 Jan (Kevin Myers). Five were at the Island Road quarry in Pickaway Co. on 16 Jan (Eric Reiner). One adult flew by rm 319 in the science center at Ohio Wesleyan University (Sean Williams). Rossıs Goose: Two have been reported from Prairie Lane, Wayne County throughout the week (m.ob). Snow Goose: A small group of white morphs was reported from Hoover Reservoir on 14 Jan (Charlie Bombaci). 30ish were seen at the Melvin Quarry on 15 Jan (m.ob). An immature white-phase was at the Island Rd. quarry in Pickaway Co. on 16 Jan (Eric Reiner). One dark-phase bird flew by rm 319 in the science center at Ohio Wesleyan University on 16 Jan (Sean Williams). Cackling Goose: One was seen from Prairie Lane, Wayne County throughout the week (m.ob). 4-5 were reported from Melvin Quarry on 15 Jan (m.ob.). One flew by the window of rm 319 in the science center of Ohio Wesleyan University on 16 Jan (Sean Williams). Golden Eagle: One juvenile flew by rm 319 in the science center at Ohio Wesleyan University on 10 Jan (Sean Williams). Two were seen at The Wilds on 15 Jan (m.ob.). Little Gull: One flew by North Perry on 15 Jan (John Pogacnik). Northern Shrike: One was along Prouty Rd in The Wilds on 15 Jan (m.Ob.) HARRISıS SPARROW: This bird has been seen well through 16 Dec, visiting a feeder at 9041 Bear Hollow Rd in Applecreek (Bobolink RBA). Yellow-headed Blackbird: One was seen amongst a flock of Red-winged Blackbirds on ³the corner of Secrest Road and Apple Creek Road near Apple Creek on 16 Jan² (Wayne Co.)
