Hi all, In passing through Zanesville at dusk last night (2/9), I passed a flock of about 30-35 robins consuming crabapples/hawthorns in the street lawn on the north side of Adair Street (Rt. 146) not much east of its intersection with Maple Avenue. Between the groundhogs last week and the robins yesterday, Spring may be not far behind notwithstanding the -8 degree (F) temperatures at home last night (near Lexington). Also a little further out of town (on route 146) going west, about 40-50 crows passed overhead heading northeast (much in the fashion of crows going to a roost of unknown size and location)..
